  Liney Rivero Ramos

  FNP

  Liney Rivero Ramos is a family nurse practitioner who has also proudly served as a doctor in Cuba. As a teenager, she “loved the idea of helping people,” which led her to pursue a career in medicine. She loves assisting patients with managing their health problems. “The best part is when they get good outcomes and become more healthy,” she says. If she could change anything about healthcare today, she would improve accessibility. Having worked in healthcare in multiple countries, she explains that across cultures, the common goal is to “keep patients healthy and stable without further complications to increase life expectancy.” In her free time, Liney Rivero Ramos loves going to the beach with her family.

  Claribel Cruz

  MD

  Doctor Claribel Cruz remembers going to her father’s clinic as a child and seeing how his patients regarded him as family. It inspired her to pursue a career in medicine, and today she is a primary care physician. What she enjoys most about her work is healing her patients’ physical ailments as well as their social and psychological needs. “I help my patients live happy, healthy golden years,” says Dr. Cruz. “Education is key. Once patients understand their ailments they can help decrease disease progression.” Dr. Cruz and her husband have three children. She likes spending time with her family, cooking, going to the beach and traveling. She enjoyed visiting Italy and would love to go to Greece.

  Yanet Miranda

  ARNP

  Yanet Miranda always knew she wanted to work in healthcare. “I love the feeling of helping someone to prevent or overcome a disease and return back to normal life,” she says. She strives to be compassionate and actively listens to her patients’ concerns. She says she likes “promoting health through simple acts of education and care.” She loves working with the senior population and strives to treat them like family. “I like to treat my patients with love, respect, loyalty, and responsibility,” she says. She is passionate about preventative care, explaining, “Disease prevention must become a top national healthcare priority.” In her free time, Yanet Miranda enjoys traveling with her family and reading. She also enjoys salsa dancing.

  Sara Cáceres Reynolds

  Dr. Sara Cáceres Reynolds knew at a young age that she wanted to be a physician. She enjoys the opportunity to learn from the senior population’s wisdom and life experiences while caring for them. “I want to help them navigate the complex healthcare environment, so they have one less thing to worry about,” she says. She loves learning about her patients’ families, backgrounds, and celebrations. She adds, “We usually end up talking about food. We can all bond over our respective comfort food!” She strives to “help patients feel heard and empowered” by educating them, so “they can take better care of themselves.” Dr. Reynolds loves spending her free time with family and friends. She also enjoys RV camping and reading.

  Lizbeth Marie Fraticelli Rentero

  MD

  Dr. Lizbeth Marie Fraticelli Rentero was inspired to care for patients by her parents, who both worked in healthcare. She adds, “I was inspired to work with the senior population from a personal experience with my grandparents. Senior patients need our help in this stage of their life, where they have to face multiple challenges socially, economically, and emotionally.” She enjoys getting to know her patients as people, rather than only as patients. She loves advocating for patients and “making them feel like they are not alone.” She adds, “They should know that they will be treated like family, with the best attention and care.” In her free time, Lizbeth enjoys playing tennis, running, going to the beach, and exploring new places.
