Description
Dr. John Small is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and fellowship-trained in spine surgery, specializing in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine care since 1996. He has advanced training in endoscopic and microscopic spine surgery and maintains ongoing clinical research projects. Dr. Small earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, followed by a spine surgery fellowship at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic. Dr. Small is part of FOI's Spine & Pain program at North Tampa and sees patients at Cypress and South Tampa (Dale Mabry). Dr. Small is currently a physician at Florida Orthopaedic Institute.
