Father and Son Moving and Storage was established and built with local moving as our primary service, our motto of “Modern Moving with Old Fashioned Care” describes our attitude towards customer service and care for your belongings. Our standards are set so that every piece of furniture is wrapped and cared for like it is irreplaceable, some customers say “don’t worry about that old thing” but to us, we treat every piece of furniture like it is a family heirloom unless told to do different. Our standard service includes disassembly of all standard furniture including bed frames with headboards, mirrors off of dressers and legs off of tables and reassembly for all items we take apart. We place furniture where requested, stack boxes in appropriate rooms when marked for delivery. We also provide free shrink wrap for all of your upholstered items and free mattress bags to keep them as clean as when they were received. Our headquarters in Tampa / St Petersburg also provides for use of heavy cloth moving blankets for shipments going into POD containers or self-storage free of charge* (ask your salesperson for details, some offices may vary with free / minimal charge items. Father and Son Moving and Storage also offers packing and loading services.
