We are a Podiatry practice treating all problems related to the foot and ankle. There are six Doctors in the practice who are all extremely friendly. Dr. Leo Krawetz, Dr. Todd Brennan, Dr. Binh Nguyen, Dr. Bret Brennan, Dr. Anh Nguyen and Dr. Britni Sklencar are compassionate Doctors! We exhaust all conservative and non-surgical treatment before recommending surgery. We are a very friendly office and we respect your time so we stay on time! We take state-of-the-art digital x-rays in the office and give you the results immediately!     Podiatrist

    Undergraduate Dr. Brennan attended Bridgewater College from 2002-2006. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. During his time at Bridgewater, Dr. Brennan played for the Bridgewater College Eagles soccer team. Medical School Dr. Brennan attended The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio from 2006-2010. He graduated with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine. Residency Dr. Brennan completed a three year Podiatric Surgical Residency at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa from 2010-2013. He also earned a certification in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Brennan was published in the Journal of Foot & Ankle Surgery, co-authoring an article entitled “Underlying Synovial Sarcoma in a Patient with a History of CRPS: A Case Report.”

  • Binh Nguyen

    DPM

    Dr. Binh Nguyen, or just simply “Dr. Binh,” is board qualified in forefoot and rearfoot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle surgery. He is excited to join Advanced Podiatry and remain in the Tampa Bay area. He has called Tampa home most of his life and still has extensive family ties here. His patient treatment philosophy is simple: treat all patients like family. When you see Dr. Binh, you will receive comprehensive care and all of your needs will be met as if you were his family member! After earning his International Baccalaureate diploma at Hillsborough High School, Dr. Binh obtained his B.S. in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Florida in Gainesville. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Barry University in Miami, Florida. Dr. Binh returned home to complete a three-year residency at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, where he served thousands of veterans while receiving extensive training in reconstructive lower-extremity surgery and diabetic foot care. Dr. Binh is a self-proclaimed “weekend warrior” participating in everything from pick-up basketball to flag football, running, and CrossFit. He personally has suffered many of the common injuries frequently seen in the office, including heel pain and a broken ankle. He understands the importance of getting patients back on their feet and has the expertise to do so. In addition to sports medicine, Dr. Binh is interested in both the conservative and surgical management of common foot disorders including bunions, hammertoes, plantar fasciitis, and neuromas.

  • Bret Brennan

    Podiatrist

    Undergraduate Dr. Bret Brennan (Dr. Bret) attended Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC from 2006-2010. He Graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Microbiology. During his time at Methodist, Dr. Bret played for the Methodist Monarchs Soccer team. Medical School Dr. Bret attended Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio from 2010-2014. He graduated in the top 10% of his class with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine. Residency Dr. Bret completed a three year Podiatric Surgical Residency at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa from 2014-2017. He also earned a certification in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Bret was published in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons Journal for a Scientific literature review on the “Multidisciplinary Approach to Soft- Tissue Reconstruction of the Diabetic Charcot Foot”. Personal Along with being a lifelong soccer fan, Dr. Bret is an avid runner, having completed multiple marathons and half marathons. He also enjoys working with his hands outside of the operating room, designing and building furniture. He understands the value in staying involved in whats important to an individuals life, and will work with his patients to either conservatively or surgically manage their foot and ankle problems.

  • Dr. Anh Nguyen

    Podiatrists

    Dr. Anh Nguyen was born and raised in Tampa and is excited to serve in the community that he grew up in. He is a proud graduate of the University of South Florida where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology. After undergrad, he received a master’s degree in Biology – Medical Science at Mississippi College. He then obtained his podiatric degree from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. Dr. Nguyen returned home to complete his residency training at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital where he served as chief resident. During residency he trained extensively in the management of foot and ankle pain, lower extremity surgery, trauma, and diabetic foot care. Dr. Nguyen has treated thousands of patients with various conditions but has also been a patient himself, including undergoing multiple surgeries. Being a patient can be a stressful experience and he understands the need to fully inform his patients. He always takes his time to thoroughly answer all of their questions and address any concerns. His philosophy when developing a treatment plan is to include patients and consider all options prior to surgery. In his spare time Dr. Nguyen enjoys traveling, sports, and the outdoors. He is very active and plays football, basketball, golf and tennis. He has a large extended family in the Tampa area that he values spending time with. He is very excited to be a part of Healthy Feet Podiatry family and is proud to work with such a fantastic team of doctors.

  • Dr. Britni Sklencar

    DPM

    Undergraduate Dr. Britni Sklencar attended the University of Scranton in Scranton, Pennsylvania from 2009-2013. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Neuroscience. During her time there, she was actively involved in many health professional organizations. She worked at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia aiding in research in the Emergency Department during the summer. Medical School Dr. Sklencar attended Temple University of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 2013-2017. She graduated with a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. Residency Dr. Sklencar completed a three year Podiatric Surgical Residency at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa from 2017-2020. Dr. Sklencar was published in Podiatry Today for a case on “Acral Lentiginous Melanoma of the Hallux Presenting as Granuloma: A Case Report”. Professional Dr. Sklencar grew up playing soccer and performing tap, jazz, and ballet. Her hobbies include snowboarding, traveling, and watching her favorite sports teams the Philadelphia Flyers and Eagles.
